This is inside the main building on Ellis Island. The entire island
is a memorial dedicated to all the immigrants that came to America for
a new start.

This past weekend, I went on a tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis
Island with one if my friends. This was a shot taken as we are
leaving manhattan.

Joshusa's Birthday

Well I was invited to my friend's son's first birthday. I thought it
would be something informal, so I showed up in jeans, tshirt and a
baseball cap. Turns out that it was a more formal affair. I stuck
out like a sore thumb. They put us on a separate table, good thing
because we know no one. Oh well...

Wake up!

I am not a morning person, I don't enjoy waking up at 7:00 or even
8:00, but in the weekends I still find myself waking up at 9:00 while
everyone sleeps till 11:00. During the weekdays, I stopped reading
the newspaper and now find myself sleeping on the train. Its not as
bad as it sounds, I've never ran into any problems doing this, but the
few minutes of extra sleep us never enough. I guess I should cut back
on the late nights... Sigh, off to work..
